Why Kairos?
The Greek word "Kairos" (καιρός) means the decisive moment, an opportune or seasonable time, and God's divine timing.
We chose this name because it reflects our belief that this is the right moment, in God’s perfect timing, to meet a pressing need in Gaston County. We recognized the strong desire for additional school choices and felt called to create a place where students can receive a rigorous, high-quality classical Christian education.
Kairos represents not just a school, but a mission to serve our community and honor God’s plan through this endeavor.
Our Mission Statement: We exist to provide a Christ-centered classical education to our children that will glorify God in all things.

Why Christian Education?
In this era of misinformation and disinformation, children need to know how to discern truth.
5 Christian Education Distinctives:
To see the benefit of Christian education, Christian families need only to see that Christ is at the center of all things taught.
He is the source of all knowledge and children should be made aware of that early and often.
A true Christian education equips students with this idea and all subjects are taught and learned through that presupposition.
The primary educators of children are the parents, whether they are aware of it or not. Values, morals, ethics, and character traits are reinforced and promoted at school, but begin at home.
Education is a form of discipleship, and we acknowledge parents’ and the church’s primary role in that discipleship.
Proverbs 22:6: “Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
